My diptych, “Round and Round We Go”, (12×24) is showing at the airport in Comox from November 2nd to the end of April 2025. This piece combines two artistic techniques I commonly use in my work: encaustic and cyanotypes. As many are unfamiliar with one or both of these types of art, I made a video explaining the many steps involved in the process.
This piece is part of a show entitled “Regeneration”. It is a juried show hosted by Comox Valley Arts in partnership with the airport (YQQ). As noted in their press release, “Regeneration showcases 38 carefully selected pieces from 30 professional, mid-career, and emerging artists. The selection process aims to create a cohesive and thought-provoking exhibit that highlights the extraordinary talent within our community.”
